Nikon PC-Nikkor 28mm f/3.5 lens

Fayette County courthouse, Giddings, Texas
I recently purchased a Nikon PC-Nikkor 28mm lens. It is a lens that I have wanted for a long time because of its use in architectural photography.  The perspective control allows the photographer to move the lens correcting the distortion of wide angle lenses on straight lines.

These two photographs illustrate the difference between a normal wide angle lens, in this case a 24-120mm zoom set at 24mm and the 28mm PC lens.  Both images were taken with a D3s at 200 ISO with the camera mounted on a tripod.
